Community Outreach Partners

Community Service Partners organize communications and outreach to Youth through job postings, networking and information sessions, with the support of OMLC, and provide coaching and counselling to young people interested in OMLC programs to ensure they are well prepared for the tests and interviews that are part of the screening and hiring process. Community Service Partners also assist and support Trainees throughout their training period, as needed.

Staffing Partner: Manpower

Manpower manages the OMLC Candidate Screening Process and provides the ‘matchmaking’ between companies participating in the program (who want to hire and help train Trainees) and candidates who have successfully completed the OMLC screening process and have thereby shown that they have the aptitudes and attitudes needed to be trained to become a CNC Machinist. Manpower specialists assist and support Trainees throughout their training period, as needed.

The Institute of Machine Tool Technology (IMTT) delivers the OMLC 3-week ‘workplace readiness’ training for Trainees in the OMLC CNC Machinist (Level 1) Selection and Learning Program.
